Hearing Protection Requirements From OSHA

According to OSHA one of the leading job related health problems in the United States is hearing loss. To help protect workers from hearing loss on the job, employers are required to institute a hearing conservation program whenever workplace noise levels exceed a time-weighted average of 85 decibels over an 8-hour period.
