Non Conductive or Switch Board Matting Insulates And Protects Workers

Commonly known as Switchboard Matting, our Non-Conductive Mats insulate workers, protecting them from deadly shocks generated by high voltage equipment. Our Switch Board Mats meet ASTM D178-01 specifications and Military 15562F specifications. These Non Conductive Mats are tested and proven to have a high dielectric strength. However, to provide a large margin of safety the maximum recommended voltage exposure is much less. Non-Conductive, Insulating Mat

Corrugated Switchboard Matting is a non-conductive, insulating high voltage mat designed to help protect workers from electrical shocks. Available with a corrugated surface profile to enhance foot safety, the control panel mats and non conductive runners can be cut to any length as required.

Non conductive matting runners are ideal for control panels and switchboards where there is high voltage. The Swithboard shock free mat specification covers a Dielectric Test to 30,000 Volts. Non-conductive matting should meet ASTM standards not just for voltage but also for ozone, flames and oil. Switchboard mats are truly safety mats, designed to save employees lives.

Switchboard Matting Provides Safety In An Electrical Environment

Electrical shock is an ever-present danger in any environment where high voltage electric current is present but that risk can be reduced considerably by the use of appropriate rubber insulating mats. Corrugated Switchboard matting was dsigned for this precise purpose.

Non Conductive, Switchboard matting is made of a thick solid vinyl with a corrugated, diamond plate or smooth surface. Non-conductive mats provide protection up to a Dielectric Rating of 30,000V, with a proof testing to 20,000V and a recommended use to 17,000V.

Corrugated Switchboard Mats are ideal for use near switchboards or electrical control panels, fuse boxes and at all high voltage electrical equipment.

Non-conductive mats have even been considered for water board workers who, from time to time, find water pipes used as earth connections, resulting in electrical shocks from faulty equipment.
