Entrance Matting & Flooring

Reduce maintenance costs and the risks of slip and fall injuries at the front entrance with a combination of outdoor scraper doormats and indoor carpet mats. Effective entrance matting consists of outdoor doormats that help scrape dirt, snow and debris off shoes, while indoor carpet entrance mats absorb remaining mositure from shoes which helps avoid unnecessary slip hazards. Outdoor entrance mats are designed to scrape dirt, debris and moisture away and stop these elements from entering your building. Then our carpet mats and entrance runners take over and absorb any remaining moisture, preventing it from being tracked further into the facility. All entrance and carpet matting is ranked by application and usage to help you make the proper selection for your building.

Entrance matting and entrance doormats are commonly used outside the entrance of homes and commercial businesses. Entrance matting protects your flooring that in turn helps lower maintenance costs in your facility. There are a wide variety of designs colors and fabrics that will give you a good range of entrance flooring, entrance mats and entrance runners to choose from. Like anti-fatigue matting, you can also have entrance doormats custom made with color combinations of your choice.

Entrance matting can be broadly classified into absorbent entrance mats, called indoor carpet mats and non absorbent entrance doormats, such as outdoor entrance mats that scrape dirt off shoes. As the name suggests, absorbent carpet entrance mats are used in areas, such as lobbies where moisture from snow or rain may be deposited. Absorbent indoor entrance mats are made up of turfed textile with a rubber backing. Indoor entrance matting ensures that the liquids absorbed by the mat are not passed on to the floor, thus protecting the entrance flooring from liquids. The absorbent nature of the indoor entrance mats ensures that the wetness does not spread around the entrance, making the area safe and skid proof.

Non absorbent entrance mats, also called scraper mats are used outside entryways to stop wetness before it enters the building. These rubber entrance scraper mats have a unique fingertip surface that scrapes dirt off the soles of shoes. Outdoor scraper doormats are extremely slip-resistant even when wet. The heavy duty rubber compound stays flexible in extreme cold and does not give way in extreme heat.

Maintaining these entrance doormats is relatively easy. Simply hose off or pressure wash to remove debris that lodges in the entryway doormat during usage. These rubber scraper mats are perfect for outdoor use, where there is direct exposure to the harshest weather conditions.

Most offices and commercial establishments use logo mats for their entrances. This serves the purpose of familiarizing people with the company name and logo. Custom logo floor mats are a great advertising opportunity. Call for custom availability.

Entrance floor mats are made using coir, rubber, polyester, nylon and other materials. A combination of more than one material is used to utilize the advantages of different materials.

Having good quality suitable entrance doormats make maintenance of the interiors easy. So investing in a sturdy and durable entrance floor mat is a necessity.
