Our curb style drain insert model is ideal for drains that are set into curbing. Just remove the grate and place the curb drain insert over the grate frame. When the grate is placed back into position the weight will hold the DrainGuard in position. This unit is also equipped with a heavy-duty tension rod that secures the curb drain insert inside the curb inlet preventing sediment and other contaminant's from entering the curb portion of the drain while complying with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. Curb Guard is for use with combination catch basins with a street grate and curb opening.
