Securing the lid is easy with this twist down design. The polyethylene has a think outer shell making this trash can very durable and bear proof. There is also a gasket in the inside of the Deluxe bearproof trash can helping the seal as well as reducing odors.

This bearproof trashcan will outlast any other garbage container because of its durable construction. The thick walls make it very difficult for any animal to gnaw and breach.

Both these polyethylene bear proof trashcans come with a gasket within the inside of the can making odors and other smells tough to escape so animals do not get a sense of food in the area.

These wheeled bear proof trash containers come equipped with built in handles and 6” wheels. To close the trash can properly requires a tight closure, we recommend using a 2x4 piece of wood across the slots in the lid to get a tight closure.

All animals are unpredicatable and many (such as bears and squirrels are very tenacious). All our cans have been an effective deterrent against all types of animals in which most never penetrate the can, note damage can be done to the can in which Dawg, Inc will not refund or replace the can. Cans maybe damaged in certain instances because this is the byproduct of having an animal trying to get into your trash.

Example, squirrels because of the extreme sharp teeth and after prolonged periods of time could potentially gnaw into the can where other larger animals cannot access. This is a rare event, but must be noted because no poly can on the market today is completely impenetrable. In 95% of cases you will find your can a complete deterrent for bears and all other animals.
